QuerySurge users at various points are interested in the version history of their QueryPairs. While QuerySurge does not interface with external version control systems, it internally retains all QueryPair versions. So, the revision history of every QueryPair is always available in the QueryPair History tab.
In the QueryPair History tab, you can see how many revisions a QueryPair has, when each revision was made, and which user made the modification.
In addition, you can see any revision that you're interested in by clicking on the revision - Revision 7 of QueryPair ID#177 shows below:
Finally, you can see the differences between each revision, by using the "Diff mode tool" on each query. Simply click on the the Diff mode icon
for either query. If there any been additions relative to the prior revision, then the additions appear in green highlighting:
Conversely, if there have been deletions relative to the prior revision, the deletions appear with red highlighting:
Finally, you have the option to run a formal report - the QueryPair History Report. This report will show the revision history of the QueryPairs you have decided to report on:
