Managing QuerySurge Projects: Assigning Users to Projects
In order to give a User access to one or more QuerySurge Projects, you must assign that User to the Project. When assigning a User to a Project, you are able to select the appropriate Role for this User on the particular Project. The selected Role is specific to the Project, so it is possible for a User to have a different Role on different Projects. This article will walk you through the process of assigning a user to a Project using Global Administration.
Assigning a User to a Project - Projects Grid
- Log into the QuerySurge Global Administration Portal as a Global Admin user.
- Navigate to QuerySurge Administration > Projects.
Note: Entry is named 'Projects' in versions 11.2 and lower - Select the Project you'd like to give one or more Users access.
- Click Edit and select the Users tab.
- Click the Add User button ( )
- Select the User from the User drop-down list.
- Click in the Project Role cell for this User and select the appropriate Role for this User in this Project.
- Repeat steps 5-7 for any additional Users you would like to add to this Project.
- Click Save.
Assigning a User to a Project - Users Grid
- Log into the QuerySurge Global Administration Portal as a Global Admin user.
- Navigate to QuerySurge Administration > Users.
- Select the User you'd like to assign to one or more Projects.
- Click Edit.
- Click the Add Project button ( )
- Select the Project from the Project drop-down list.
- Click in the Project Role cell for this User and select the appropriate Role for this User in this Project.
- Repeat steps 5-7 for any additional Projects you would like to add to this User.
- Click Save.
