QuerySurge allows logged in users to edit their general profile and security settings.
How to edit your User Profile
- Click the user account icon located in the top right.
- Click User Profile. This will open the User Profile dialog.
General Tab
First Name: First Name of the user to be created. This name will be visible in the UI.
Last Name: Last Name of the user to be created. This name will be visible in the UI.
Phone (Optional): Informational contact field for users phone number.
E-mail (Optional): Email address for user. Used for notifications.
Default Project: The default project to show when logging into QuerySurge.
Note: A user's Default Project preference will be automatically updated if access is access to that Project is revoked by a Global Admin, or if the Project is disabled or deleted.
Security Tab
The Security tab allows updating a user's password within QuerySurge. This tab is not available when LDAP authentication is in use.
Old Password: For security purposes, confirm the current password
New Password: New password to be applied to the user
Confirm Password: Confirm the new password
Preferences Tab (10.3+)
The Preference tab allows setting the default view options for the user when accessing results. For information on what each setting does please see our article on view options here.
